Gatecrasher 72kg 8 man knock out 15 May
John very much the under dog with only 9 fights experience was selected for elimination bout number 3 against one of the contests favourites Sam Wilson. Sam has many years of experience and at least 60 fights to his record. John conceeded to a narrow points loss despite his domination in the clinch. sam certainly knew he was in a fight and only his greater experience had him take the technical lead. the contest was 3 x 3 minutes. All the judges agreed that over 5 rounds john would have been the victor. We set out to announce Johns arrival in A Class competition. Message received!
King of kings promotion.
John wins by KO. With an equal fight record both men weighed in exactly the same. Barry Montford K Star having a slight advantage in that the higher weight of 75kg better suited him. However; a right cross from hell sent Barry to the canvass for an 8 count within the first minute. Followed by a knee to the head for another 8 count just before the bell. Barry did not come out for the second round
Tobins promotion
John won convincingly over the greatly experienced liam stansfield. Records of Liams fight career are incomplete but can be traced back as far as 2005 for professional competition. Undaunted John went about the business of pressuring Liam and dominating the later rounds. John wants to thank all those who supported him and contributed to this victory. Joe was due to fight on the same bill but unfortunately failed the medical protocol. As the record showed his last fight ended as a stoppage (despite it being a technicality). Joe eargerly awaits his next opportunity to showcase his talents

Recent history. Johnny T's promotion 27th March.

Joe is dealt a cruel blow of fate. Clearly winning his fight against Sam Moore of Accrington thai and being appaulded by the judges for his clean, precise and accurate technique. He was fouled by Sam in the clinch half way through the fight. His injury requiring immediate medical attention. Stadium rules state clearly that if a fighter cannot continue for whatever reason he loses the fight. A win by default or a no contest would have been fair/appropriate to western values. And indeed few organisations outside of Thailand recognise this ruling. But this is thai boxing! Roll on Joes next fight
March 13th 2011 Gatecrasher Promotions. Birmingham.
Joe wins! Joe put in a stirling performance to take the decision by stoppage from Leon Markham. Deisel Gym
Alex was making this event his come back fight from injury. His coach made the decision to pull Alex out of the fight after the first round. Despite dominating the round it was evident Alex was struggling to maintain his balance. Further examination reveals the brain scarring that had suspended him had not fully healed. Alex will now retire from all competition

Gareth as a last minute stand in fought his debut bout on the Carlisle Dragons promotion against the favoured home fighter Sean Lightfoot. Decision Gareth a points win

Missed opportunity. Lady Luck turns her back on Alex
Following a forced medical suspension from all competition until cleared by his Doctor. Alex is unable to honour his contract to fight for the vacant UKMF British -70kg title.
Tragically like so many of his piers Alex has relied upon pre fight saunas to strip those last few kilos to make weight. But never one to miss a meal he became complacent. the result was a gradual build up of concussive damage to the brain fighting in a dehydrated state. Fortunately the condition was flagged up and identified early on in his fight with Sam Wilson forcing the referee to stop the fight. Unfortunately this meant Alex has to endure a loss on his record against a fighter who despite his greater fight experience Alex had expected to beat.
Alex must now take stock of his career and determine to come back stronger, harder, leaner and more determined if he wants to retain his ranked position.

Semtex explosion 19th Sept 2010
Alex AK47 Abusin was set to fight Sam Wilson at 72.5kgs despite Alex giving away over 6kgs on his normal fight weigth and Sam having double the fight experience. Alex's mood was positive. However; it soon became clear there were issues after the first round. The referee stopped the contest over concerns for Alex's safety. Alex is now subject to a medical suspension until further notice. Alex is suffering from a swelling in his brain which if not treated satisfactorily may force his retirement. A sad day.

IMPORTANT NEWS
Alex AK47 Abusin v James France
8th June 2010
Following on from the controversial decision of the last contest. Recordings of the fight were reviewed by independant UK officials and the WMC in Thailand. All with the exception of one agreed unanimously that Alex should have been awarded the decision over James France. All accepted it was a close fought contest and worthy of a rematch in the not too distant future.
Darlington Show report
23rd April 2010
Alex fought James France over 5 punishing hard fought rounds under full muay thai rules. dropping james in the 2nd round Alex looked to have the fight in the bag but James hung in and was saved by the end of round bell. James came back strong sensing the fight was slipping away from him and threw everything he had at a determined Alex who walked forward and through a punishing barrage of techniques. Round 5 was drawn on the score cards adding up to a numerical draw. However; the judges felt that overall Jame's techniques were just that little bit more clean and gave the decision in Jame's favour. The result is under official review as this update is being typed and a draw may well be the official decision.
For the Glory promotions - Leeds Feb 21st 2010 Alex wins victiously over Saymon Gambier. Team Slamm. Holland. Saymon the taller and more experienced of the two started the fight with sharp accurate boxing putting Alex on to his knees. This revitalised Alex who jumped back up, cleared his head and began to punish Saymon with boxing and knees. Saymon turned and ran from the attack until in the third round he suffered a momentary KO and elcted conceed the fight in alex's favour

| Darlington WMC Show - 27th September 2009 Alex Abusin fought the star of the contender series Zidov losing by KO in the second round. This was Alex's 15th fight and only his 3rd this year to Zidov's 30th this year alone, Alex was not outlclassed and looked comfortable in the attack but exposed a weakness in his defence by dropping his left guard, a weakness that Zidov exploited to his advantage. Alex stepped on the first rung on the International Fight ladder and discovered that he has the tools to compete at that level, just needing to improve on his fight game. |

Newcastle Fight Night - 17th May 2009 Alex Abusin was honoured to be invited to fight Craig Jose, a massively more experienced fighter ranked in the UK's top 3. Alex looked to be edging the contest going into the fourth round when a flash knockdown and over cautious 8 count from the referee tipped the score cards in Craig's favour. Both fighters finishing round 5 at the same blistering pace that both had set throughout the contest. The final score cards refected the impact of that 8 count! Alex extends his gratitude to Craig for the opportunity, Craig Jose is possibly one of the nicest guys you could ever fight! |
